Network Password Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 characters

  • Contain characters from two of the following three
    security categories:

    • Upper Case Characters (A through Z)

    • Numbers (0 through 9)

    • Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %) 


Changing Network Password (Expired Password)

Note: To avoid disruptions, it is best to change your password within a R&A office before expiration. If you are working remotely, please connect to the VPN. If you are unable to connect to the VPN, please contact the IT  Support Desk for assistance.

 

  1. While in the office or on VPN, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE key on your firm computer keyboard at the same time.
  2. Click Change a Password . Please enter the following information the next screen.
    1. First, type in your current password.
    2. Second, type in a new password that meets the Network Password Requirements listed above.
    3. Lastly, type in your new password again to confirm the entry is accurate.
    4. Once all boxes are filled, click the → button to submit your new password.
      1. If successful, it will prompt saying the "your password has been changed".
      2. If unsuccessful, please start go back to step 1 and try again.
        1. If you are still unsuccessful, please contact the IT Support Desk.

Updating Network Password Across Devices

 

Mobile Email (iPhone & iPad)

  1. Tap on the Settings app
  2. Tap on Mail.
  3. Tap on Accounts.
  4. Tap Roetzel Intune. Cloud users will see M365 Cloud and will tap that instead.
  5. Tap Account. Cloud users will tap "Re-Enter Password".
  6. Clear the current password and enter in the new password. Cloud users will see the "Re-Enter Password" option disappear. Restart your phone.
  7. Press Done.
  8. Verify you are able to receive/send emails on your phone.

 

Mobile Email (Android - Samsung)

  1. Open the Samsung Mail app.
  2. Tap on the Icon for your account.
  3. Tap on the  Icon.
  4. Tap on your R&A Email Account.
  5. Swipe to the bottom and under Advanced Settings, tap on Server Settings.
  6. Clear the current password and enter in the new password.
  7. Press Done.
